One Grand Loop Across China

In 2009, Pele made his first photographic trip to China. By November 2025, sixteen years later, he had finally set foot in every province, autonomous region, municipality, special administrative region, and Taiwan. That said, China is simply too vast to cover every corner—and he never intended to. But life needs goals, and photography is no exception. Since he couldn’t go everywhere, he decided to go around instead. That, he thought, would make a fine milestone.

One Grand Loop Across China is his third photographic travelogue of China—and the last. After this, he plans to document his travels in a different way.
