Photographing the remote regions of China

Complimentary presentations for camera clubs or similar associations from February to May 2011.

Like many other photographers, Pele was first attracted to photography because of the beautiful scenery around us. The passion of capturing the fascinating moments in time brought him to many corners of Australia. While Australia is a beautiful country with numerous secret spots to discover, Pele discovered another beauty at the other side of the world accidentally during a family gathering overseas. From that point onwards, he started to visit this new horizon regularly while his base still remained in Australia.

The new horizon, China, is also a huge country with a lot of shooting opportunities. While most westerners only focus on the traditional Chinese scenery like Beijing, the Great Wall of China, Huangshan and the Silk Road, Pele decided to visit the remote regions of North West and South West China in autumn 2010.

During the whole journey, he only came across two groups of westerners from Germany. It is obvious that only a handful of westerners had set their foot on these remote land. With this understanding in mind, Pele would like to share his extraordinary remote-China experiences with all like-minded photographers in Australia.

To share his travel and photographic experiences of the remote China in person, Pele likes to offer complimentary presentations at camera clubs or similar associations from February 2011 to May 2011.

Due to the geographical barrier, Pele's presentations will be initially given in Victoria, New South Wales and Canberra only. However, if your camera clubs or associations are located in other states, Pele may still consider provided that you have sufficient number of audiences to justify his visit. If in doubt, please contact us to discuss your proposal.

To help you plan your own session with Pele, his session is estimated to be around 1 hour 15 minutes. However, he can always extend his presentation to 2 hours if needed especially if you are located far from Pele's base - Melbourne.
